TASTING NOTES

THE HEAT WAVE OF 2003 CAN BE CLEARLY DISCERNED IN THE RICHNESS AND OPULENCE OF THIS VINTAGE CHAMPAGNE.
ENJOY WITH FINE FOOD. READY TO DRINK NOW.

Appearence, this vintage champagne has a rich golden colour suggestive of a mature wine and a calm, serene effervescence.

Nose, a lovely open nose that conjures up images of long summer evenings. Aromas of stewed fruit, dried flowers and spices (saffron) mingle with notes of sloe gin and praline. Rich and redolent of the wonderful opulence of this vintage year.

Palate, a good, supple attack that blossoms into a wonderful roundness with a soft, discrete effervescence and a luscious texture. A rich, powerful and robust wine with a warm and satisfying finish.

Service, serve at 10° C (500 F) in a wine glass. An excellent match with white meats and with cheeses with hard rind.
